The HP 2840 is a color laser printer ideal for small to medium sized offices and workgroups. With a monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages and the capability to print at a speed of 20 pages per minute in black and white and 4 pages per minute for color, the HP 2840 provides high quality with every print, without sacrificing on speed or durability. With networking capabilities built in, the HP 2840 can easily be connected to a workgroup. In addition to being a printer, the HP 2840 can also function as a scanner and copier, as well as a fax machine capable of transmitting at a rate of 33.6 Kbps. The standard print resolution of the HP 2840 is 600 dpi by 600 dpi, so every print will come out with high quality.
The HP 2840 uses four HP toner cartridges for printing in black and white and full color, and can support both genuine HP 2840 toner cartridges, and quality compatible toner cartridges. These cartridges, which come in black, magenta, yellow, and cyan, are designed to produce quality prints while still supporting a high page yield.
