The Xerox solid ink printer family welcomed its newest addition in mid-October 2010, the ColorQube 8870DN. If you are in need of a high performance, reliable, cost-efficient and environmentally friendly printer then the ColorQube 8870 is the printer you want. This printer is a unique blend between performance and quality. Its capable of handling 120,000 images / month and can print up to 40 ppm for both colour and black & white prints. The ColorQube 8870DN has a standard paper input handling capacity of 625 sheets but that volume can be increased to 2,200 as the printer supports additional paper tray. The standard memory storage for the ColorQube 8870 is 512 MB expandalbe to 2 GB.
The high print resoultion (2400 FinePrint) coupled with its use of solid ink technology allows the ColorQube 8870DN to create vibrant, lasting prints on a wide range of paper type. Plus new features such as the EarthSmart print drive settings, which gives users the flexibility to choose environmentally friendly conscious settings and GreenPrint software, which gives users the power to easily print only the pages they need, help to reduce wasted ink and paper supplies while subsequently lowering costs. The ColorQube 8870DN printer is also ENERGY STAR qualified.
