HP first introduced the 4000 and 4050 series printers as an effort to move into network printer market. Though not the fastest or the biggest printers on the market, these two printer lines can handle any printing load a midsize office can generate. The printer boasts a monthly duty load of 65,000, and has a paper capacity of up to 1100 pages, so it won't need to be filled up every day. The 4000 and 4050 series printers pump out prints at 17 ppm, which as before mentioned is not the fastest, but not unacceptable either. Other features of the printers include a 133 Mhz processor, 8MB of RAM, HP Transmit Once technology, and a warm up under 15 seconds thanks to instant-on fuser. While not the most advanced of printers on the market today, the 4000 and 4050 series printers would be high-speed, high-output assets to any office.
